We find that our students become more confident to stand up to bullies and that they show increased humility and kindness to others.
No. However, Little Dragons classes are 30 minutes of super-focused FUN! Not really enough time to go out and get much done. Also, we find that parents who get involved with their kids martial arts lessons truly build a solid connection as they watch their child grow in confidence and skill while progressing through their belt ranks. Most parents wouldn’t dare miss watching their children thrive in this environment!
Make sure your student wears comfortable clothes. Shorts and a T-shirt are perfect!
Additionally, a water bottle is always a great idea!
Yes! Martial arts is great because it is an individual sport, done in a group environment. We find all our students improve in their focus, self control, discipline and social skills. But the best part is…. They don’t even realize that is what our highly trained Little Dragons Martial Arts Instructors are actually working towards. They just know that they are having fun!

Not at all! You will find that martial arts classes may be the PERFECT sport for kids who struggle in other sports. Kids’ martial arts classes really are an individual activity, done in a group.
The journey from white belt to black belt is different for each student. But one thing remains the same! They improve coordination, balance, motor skills, focus and discipline. Plus, they makes lots of great friends!
