Charlotte’s Best Summer Camp & After-School Program provides a safe, structured, and engaging environment where kids thrive. With over 20 years of experience, we focus on fun, personal growth, and character development in a fun, clean, and supportive atmosphere. Our communication is top-notch, and parents always know exactly what’s going on and what’s coming up!
We are located at 3420 Saint Vardell Lane, Suite E, Charlotte, NC 28217. Our facility is designed for active learning and play, featuring large indoor spaces, safety mats, and age-appropriate equipment.
Our program welcomes elementary-aged kids (Kindergarten to 5th Grade). Participants are placed in age-based groups for almost all activities.
Please send your child with:
- A labeled water bottle filled with plain water
- A nut-free lunch and snacks
- Closed-toe shoes for active play
- Appropriate clothing for being outside
We do not provide meals. We do sell single snacks for one dollar, twice per day. Parents must send a nut-free lunch and can choose to send nut-free snacks each day.
We follow strict guidelines to keep kids safe. We schedule indoor breaks, hydration stations, and shaded play areas to ensure comfort and well-being on hot days. If the temperature drops below 35 degrees, we do not go outside. We do not go outside in heavy rain or snow.
We provide transportation from:
- Selwyn Elementary

To ensure the health and safety of all students, sick children should stay home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours.
Families should expect that children will go outside for scheduled activities. We cannot accommodate individual requests to stay indoors.
We use positive reinforcement, structured guidance, and clear expectations to support positive behavior. If issues arise, we communicate with parents to develop a plan for success. In very rare instances, participants may be suspended or expelled from our program.
