FREE TRANSPORTATION FROM Selwyn and Dilworth Elementary.
Homework time, martial arts, parkour, and tumbling are included. Open until 6:00 PM.
Regular CMS teacher workdays are included with tuition. You must save your spot! Holiday camps are also available at a discounted rate for regular after-school members.
Transportation is included from Selwyn Elementary and Dilworth Elementary. Eligible CMS Blue Transportation Zone magnet students may also be able to ride the bus to our facility.
Students enjoy martial arts with experienced instructors, plus parkour and tumbling led by industry professionals.

Our coaches complete Level 2 background checks and drug screenings before they are hired. These are the same background checks required for public school teachers, so parents can feel confident about who is working with their child each afternoon.

Charlotte’s Best Summer Camp & After-School Program provides a safe, structured, and engaging environment where kids thrive. We offer exciting activities, martial arts, parkour, tumbling, literacy programming, and more – all at no extra cost. With over 20 years of experience, we focus on fun, personal growth, and character development in a fun, clean, and supportive atmosphere.
We are located at 3420 Saint Vardell Lane, Suite E, Charlotte, NC 28217. Our facility is designed for active learning and play, featuring large indoor spaces, safety mats, and age-appropriate equipment.
Our Summer Camp and After-School program welcomes elementary-aged kids (Kindergarten to 5th Grade). Participants are placed in age-based groups for almost all activities.
Please send your child with:
- A labeled water bottle filled with plain water
- A nut-free lunch and snacks
- Closed-toe shoes for active play
- Appropriate clothing for being outside
We do not provide meals. We do sell single snacks for one dollar. Parents must send a nut-free lunch (on full day camp days) and can choose to send nut-free snacks each day. However, we do offer Pizza Day and other special treats on occasion during summer camp.
We follow strict guidelines to keep kids safe. We schedule indoor breaks, hydration stations, and shaded play areas to ensure comfort and well-being on hot days. If the temperature drops below 35 degrees, we do not go outside. We do not go outside in heavy rain or snow.
We provide transportation from:
- Selwyn Elementary
- Dilworth Elementary
- Students in the CMS Blue Transportation Zone who attend a magnet school or program can be delivered to our facility by regular school bus. Please contact us for more information.
Our program runs from pickup at school dismissal until 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

You are welcome to send your own nut-free snacks, and we also offer single snacks for sale for one dollar. ALL snacks must be nut-free snacks.

We keep your credit card on file for your convenience. We do not accept cash, vouchers, or any type of child care subsidies for tuition payments.
Yes! All staff undergo consistent training, background checks, and drug testing.
To ensure the health and safety of all students, sick children should stay home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours.
Families should expect that children will go outside for scheduled activities. We cannot accommodate individual requests to stay indoors.
We use positive reinforcement, structured guidance, and clear expectations to support positive behavior. If issues arise, we communicate with parents to develop a plan for success. In very rare instances, participants may be suspended or expelled from our program.
